Membership requirements

You too can join Peoples Credit Union. Membership is limited to those who are residents and those who are employed in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, Okeechobee, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, Brevard, Polk, Indian River, St. Lucie, Glades, Hendry, Hardee, and Monroe Counties, also real property owners and members of the immediate family of persons within such group, and organizations of members of the Credit Union. Immediate family members is defined as those persons related by blood, marriage, adoption and not necessary residing under the same roof.

You can also join Peoples Credit Union if you’re an employee of a participating company.

To join the Credit Union, there is a one-time membership fee of $5.00 and, you must open a Savings (share) account with a minimum initial deposit of $5.00. This minimum balance must be maintained at all times.

Once you've joined the credit union, you're a member for life. Even if you leave your job, retire or move out of the area. Just keep your account open and enjoy all the benefits.
